Minuteman III
The Minuteman III ICBM arrived at Peterson on flatbed trucks in three sections May 13. Each section was lifted by crane and installed on the display site near the North Gate at the corner of Peterson Boulevard and Otis Street. Assembly took the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron three days to construct. (U.S. Air Force photo by Gail Whalen)
