Construction Update
Peterson construction update, Aug. 19, 2009 PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – The following are ongoing construction projects on Peterson. Base personnel should exercise patience and caution when in the vicinity of these projects. 1. The Minuteman III Static Display has an estimated completion date of Aug. 30. A landscaping modification is under way. 2. Club Canopy construction has an ECD of Aug. 30. Temporary hand rails have been fabricated for installation until permanent hand rails arrive. 3. West Gate outbound lanes realignment has an ECD of Aug. 22. Crews are currently reworking outside outbound lane. Work began June 29. Outbound traffic is restricted to one lane. Project is stalled due to saturated sub base. Asphalt will be laid when sub base dries. 4. The repair and replacement of the East Gate has an ECD of Oct. 14. The gates are being fabricated.
