AF Birthday
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Col. Stephen Whiting, 21st Space Wing commander and Airman Kurt Brockhaus, 561st Network Operations Squadron, cut the Air Force birthday cake during the U.S. Air Force’s 62nd birthday celebration Sept. 18 at the Aragon Dining Facility. The event featured a lunch, the cake cutting ceremony, and a short presentation on the history of Peterson from Jeff Nash, Peterson Air and Space Museum deputy director and curator. This celebration also served as the monthly birthday celebration meal for Team Pete Airmen. (Air Force photo by Craig Denton)
