Commander tours deployment facility
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Maj. Jerry Gonzalez, 21st Logistics Readiness Squadron commander (right), explains to Col. Stephen Whiting, 21st Space Wing commander, the impact of operations the 21st LRS provides during Army deployments including passenger and cargo movements. Colonel Whiting toured the new Arrival/Departure Airfield Control Group facility Oct. 5. The 21st SW deploys about 700 Airmen each year as part of its mission to provide well-trained Warrior Airmen.
