Dormitory

Demolition crews take down a three-story dormitory Nov. 4, at the corner of Otis Street and Stewart Avenue on Peterson Air Force Base. The demolition is part of the Air Force "20/20 by 2020" program, which aims to reduce real property square footage by 20 percent and reduce building maintenance costs by 20 percent by the year 2020. The old dormitory has been vacant for several years because it did not meet current building standards. About 45 percent of the building materials will be recycled. (Air Force photo by Larry Hulst)
