Condor Crest
21st Security Forces Squadron Airmen detain a suspect Feb. 23 in the 21st Space Wing Headquarters Building 845 as part of the quarterly Condor Crest exercise. The suspect began a shooting spree in Eagle Park and then ran into the headquarters building. The four-day exercise simulated active shooters on Peterson Air Force Base and was designed to test building lockdown, medical and fire response and security forces reaction time. Condor Crest exercises also help ensure the 21st SW is able to complete its mission of professionally operating, supporting and protecting its personnel and resources during actual incidents.
