Helping out mother earth!
Angela Comer, an environmental consultant with RGI, digs through trash April 22 from Building 2 on Peterson Air Force Base. Ms. Comer is looking for recyclable material that could have been put in recycling bins. The trash audit helps the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron design recycling programs for individual buildings, which might include adding recycling containers inside offices and recycling bins outside. The audits help Peterson AFB reach its goal of recycling 50 percent of its material. (Editor’s Note: Photo by Marisa Aragon, 16, who shadowed 21st Space Wing photographer Rob Bussard on April 22 for "Bring Your Child to Work Day." Miss Aragon is a high school student and is enrolled in a photography class.)
