SARC fun run
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – More than 140 Team Pete personnel race in the Sexual Assault Awareness Month five-kilometer run behind the Peterson AFB fitness center April 30. One of the goals of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response is to educate the base community on sexual assault issues through instruction. Coming in first at the run was Senior Master Sgt. Michael Woods, U.S. Air Force Academy Band, with a time of 20:06. The run was one of several events in April, including special guest speakers Kelly and Becca and a self defense class, to promote the SAPR programs offered on Peterson.
