Roof Repair

On May 25, 60 mph winds ripped half the roof off Hangar 133 on the Peterson Air Force Base flightline and the debris landed atop two of the Aero Club’s Cessna airplanes. One plane suffered a broken spine, bent engine mounts and wing damage. Club officials expect it to be ruled a total loss by the insurance company. A second aircraft suffered strut and wing damage, but has been repaired and is back in the air. (U.S. Air Force photo/Roberta McDonald)
