Roof Repair

Half the roof on Hangar 133 was ripped off May 25 when 60 mph winds roared through Peterson AFB. The wind caused $140,000 worth of damage to the roof and damaged two Cessna airplanes parked in the lot behind the building. The 21st Civil Engineer Squadron is overseeing the roof repair, which is expected to be complete by June 30. The new roof is being fortified with an extra layer of plywood and a rubber cover.
