Condor Crest

Members of Peterson’s bioenvironmental engineering team investigate a possible radiological agent planted at the Peterson Base Exchange food court, where seven base members who had exhibited signs of radioactive poisoning had eaten in the days prior. The investigation and emergency response was part of the quarterly Condor Crest exercise on Peterson Air Force Base Aug. 16 to 20. The scenario allowed responders to practice response to a radiological event. (U.S. Air Force photo/Larry Hulst)
