Wing hosts co-commanders
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Col. Stephen N. Whiting, 21st Space Wing commander, speaks to Dr. Pat Boone, a Colorado Springs civic leader, during the 21st SW Co-Commander Program icebreaker Sept. 21 at the Peterson Golf Course. The Air Force launched the Co-Commander Program as a way for Air Force leaders to share the local Air Force mission with civic leaders, foster community partnerships, and increase 21st SW leadership involvement with the community. Colonel Whiting partnered two co-commanders with each group commander, who will invite their civilian counterparts to group events throughout the year. (U.S. Air Force photo/Craig Denton)
