vehicle damage

A driver operating a government owned vehicle backed into a base taxi on March 26 at Thule Air Base in Greenland, and the cost of the damage was $2,292. It was one of 19 GOV-involved mishaps in the 21st Space Wing to-date in 2010. The 21st Space Wing safety office and logistics readiness squadron are developing a training program for GOV operators that will focus on backing and the use of a spotter and will be mandatory for GOV operators. The program is expected to be available by the end of the year. (U.S. Air Force file photo)
