Maj. James Bales, 21st Force Support Squadron orthopedic surgeon currently on staff at the U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital, was named the head coach for the U.S. Air Force 2012 Warrior Games team. The games take place April 30-May 5 at the U.S Air Force Academy. Bales was the U.S. Air Force Male Athlete of the Year for 2010 and is part of the USAF World Class Athlete Program, which allows him to train for the 2012 Olympic Trials and Olympic Games.
