21st SW ORI

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – 21st Security Forces Squadron Airmen secure the Peterson Air Force Base flightline March 11 during an active shooter scenario as part of the 21st Space Wing’s Operational Readiness Inspection, which continues through this week. In this scenario, a shooter killed and injured several people, which required quick and precise response from all emergency personnel who successfully captured the suspects. The ORI tests the wing’s ability to perform deployment operations, emergency response actions and evaluates compliance with Department of Defense, Air Force, Headquarters Air Force Space Command and 21st Space Wing instructions. The Headquarters AFSPC Inspector General will brief the wing on its performance March 21. (U.S. Air Force photo/Rob Bussard)
