21st OG Airman gets Bronze Star
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Col. Chris Crawford, 21st Space Wing commander, presents the Bronze Star Medal to Tech. Sgt. Deliela Hill, 76th Space Control Squadron security non-commissioned officer in charge, Nov. 4, 2011. Hill was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for her service at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, in 2010. While under enemy fire, Hill left her position of cover to aid one of her teammates. Maj. Trevor Nolan, 21st Operations Support Squadron assistant operations officer, described Hill as “the epitome of the Air Force’s core values.” A wife and mother of four, this was Hill’s second deployment.
