Congressman Lamborn visits 21st Space Wing
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - Congressman Doug Lamborn (left), is greeted by Col. Chris Crawford (center) 21st Space Wing commander, and Col. Jeffrey Flewelling, 21st SW vice commander, Nov. 21, 2011, in front of the wing headquarters building. During his visit, Lamborn learned more about the wing’s global missile warning and space control mission, future growth plans and the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station mission. He also went on a windshield tour of the base. Lamborn represents Colorado’s 5th Congressional District, and serves on the House Armed Services Committee and House Veterans Affairs Committee.
