PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Lt. Col. James Oldenburg (left), 21st Space Wing chief of plans, programs and exercises, Lt. Col. Jeffrey Vansanford, 21st SW inspector general, and Chief Master Sgt. Richard Redman, 21st SW command chief, greet civic leaders from the local area Oct. 16, during the 21st SW’s Commander State of the Wing and Civic Social in The Club here. The event educated key civic leaders in the Pikes Peak region on the wing’s mission, operational capabilities, and vitality indicators for present and future development. Civic leaders in attendance ranged from federal Congressional staff members, city and county elected officials, to prominent business and educational leaders within the community.
