Base gets new east gate
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- (Left to right) Staff Sgt. Keith Frisbie, 21st Security Forces Squadron; Brian Dziekonski, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers; Col. Chris Crawford, 21st Space Wing commander; Scott Amhaus, Komada LLC; and Airman 1st Class Marcus Griffin, 21st SFS, cut the ribbon May 23 celebrating the completion of the new east gate. The gate was constructed to improve vehicle flow onto and off of base, and includes a larger commercial vehicle search area. The east gate hours remain 5 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
