Mrs. Cook is the Director of Staff at Space Base Delta 1, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. In this role, she provides executive leadership, guiding essential Base Operating Support to roughly 17,000 military, civilians and contractors serving across 114 organizations at 23 operating locations worldwide. These personnel execute critical U.S. Space Force missions including offensive and defensive space operations; missile warning; space domain awareness; positioning, navigation, and timing, satellite communications, electronic warfare, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and cyberspace operations.
Prior to her current position, Mrs. Cook most notably served as the Director of Staff and Chief of Production Operations and Resources for the 76th Maintenance Support Group at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. In this role, she was responsible for directing essential support to over 700 maintenance personnel in Human Resources; Performance Management; Training; Operating Budget Development and Execution; Labor Workload Forecasting and Analysis; Security; Voluntary Protection Programs; and Transformation.
Prior to Mrs. Cook’s civil service, she served seven years as an active-duty member in the U.S. Army as a 75F Personnel Information Systems Management Specialist (PISM). She entered service April 1995, attended training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, then completed assignments at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and Wiesbaden, Germany.
